This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is the charger included with this MacBook Air M1?
Yes. The box contains the 30 W USB-C power adapter and its charging cable: the MacBook is ready to use straight out of the box, with no accessory to buy. The cable plugs into either of the two USB-C ports on the chassis, which handle charging as well as an external display.
Can the memory of this MacBook Air M1 be upgraded?
No. The 8 GB is unified memory, built into the M1 chip and shared between the CPU, the graphics and the Neural Engine. The configuration is therefore fixed: memory is chosen at the time of purchase, never afterwards.
Does this MacBook Air M1 make any noise while running?
No: it has no fan at all. The M1 chip runs cool enough to do without active cooling, which makes the machine completely silent, even during video editing or video calls. No fan noise, and no dust drawn into the chassis.
How many ports does the MacBook Air M1 have?
Two Thunderbolt / USB-C ports at 40 Gb/s, which combine charging, display output and data transfer, plus a 3.5 mm headphone jack. For a USB-A flash drive, an HDMI cable or an SD card, you will need an adapter or a small USB-C hub.
How good is the display on this 13-inch MacBook Air?
It is a 13.3-inch Retina display at 2560 × 1600, in a 16:10 format, with the P3 wide colour gamut and True Tone technology, which adapts the colour temperature to the light in the room. Text is very sharp and colours are accurate enough for photo work.
How do you unlock this MacBook Air without typing a password?
With Touch ID, the fingerprint sensor built into the keyboard: one finger on it opens your session, confirms an Apple Pay payment or opens a protected document. The sensor also authorises certain system settings, without re-entering the account password every time.
Does this MacBook Air M1 have a French keyboard?
Yes, it is French AZERTY and backlit, with an ambient light sensor that adjusts the key lighting automatically. The scissor mechanism of the Magic Keyboard gives stable typing, and the Force Touch trackpad recognises pressure as well as gestures.
Is this MacBook Air suitable for video calls?
Yes. It has a FaceTime HD camera whose image processing is handled by the M1 chip — better handling of shadows and skin tones — and a three-mic array that isolates your voice. The stereo speakers, with Dolby Atmos support, round it off without a headset.
Is the MacBook Air M1 easy to carry around?
Yes: 1.29 kg for 30.41 × 21.24 cm and 1.61 cm thick at its thickest point. Its 30 W charger fits in a laptop bag pocket, and with no fan you can rest it on your lap or on a blanket without blocking a single air vent.
Which operating system comes with this MacBook Air M1?
macOS Big Sur, the version that shipped with this 2020 model. With the M1 chip and Wi-Fi 6, the machine easily handles web browsing, office work, photo editing and playing several 4K video streams at once.
