This product is covered for 2 years by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Is Windows preinstalled on the ThinkBook 16 Gen 8 IAL 21SK004MTP?
No: the machine boots into FreeDOS, without Windows. You will need a Windows 11 licence and an installation USB drive, or a Linux distribution. The hardware is fully compatible; only the operating system is missing from the box.
What does the H in this ThinkBook 16 Gen 8’s Core Ultra 7 255H processor mean?
The H suffix denotes mobile chips with a higher thermal envelope, able to sustain a long workload where a U-series chip would run out of steam. This one has 16 cores running at up to 5.1 GHz, with 24 MB of cache and an AI accelerator — that is what sets this version apart.
How much RAM can the ThinkBook 16 Gen 8 IAL take?
Up to 64 GB of DDR5-5600. The machine has two SO-DIMM slots, only one of which is taken by the original 16 GB module: the second is free. Adding an identical module enables dual channel, which benefits the integrated Arc graphics.
Can you add a second SSD to the ThinkBook 16 Gen 8 IAL 21SK004MTP?
Yes. The machine supports two M.2 2280 drives, each up to 2 TB: the original 512 GB SSD therefore leaves one slot free. With expandable memory and storage, this model is one of the most upgradable in this category.
