This product is covered for 2 years by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Is Windows preinstalled on the ThinkBook 16 Gen 8 21SK006MTP?
No: the machine boots into FreeDOS, without Windows. You will need a Windows 11 licence and an installation USB drive, or a Linux distribution. The hardware remains fully compatible — in fact, the fingerprint reader needs the operating system before it can be used for sign-in.
