1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is the memory in the Asus Vivobook 15 soldered to the motherboard?
No: the 16 GB of DDR4 is fitted on a SO-DIMM module, meaning a memory stick plugged into a connector rather than soldered to the motherboard.
Can this Vivobook 15 be charged with a USB-C charger?
Yes, and that is in fact its original charging method: the supplied adapter is a 45 W USB-C charger (20 V / 2.25 A), and one of the two USB-C ports supports Power Delivery.
Are all the USB ports on this laptop fast?
No, and it is worth knowing: of the five USB ports, one Type-A port is USB 2.0 and tops out at 480 Mbps. The other four — two Type-A and two Type-C — are USB 3.2 Gen 1, i.e. 5 Gbps. Keep the USB 2.0 port for the mouse or keyboard.
Is there an RJ-45 Ethernet port on the Vivobook 15?
No, there is no RJ-45 socket: a wired connection requires a USB to Ethernet adapter. Wireless connectivity is provided by dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.2, and video output is via HDMI 1.4.
Can you unlock your session with a fingerprint or facial recognition?
No, this model offers no biometric recognition. Privacy is handled by the physical shutter that covers the HD 720p webcam with a simple slide, handy between two video calls.
Is the screen bright enough to work near a window?
Its 15.6" Full HD anti-glare IPS panel peaks at 250 nits: comfortable indoors, it becomes marginal in direct sunlight. With 45% NTSC coverage, it is aimed at office work and video rather than colour-critical work. It is neither touch-enabled nor above 60 Hz.
Can you play games on the Asus Vivobook 15 X1504VA?
Graphics are handled by the Intel Iris Xe graphics integrated into the Core i7-1355U, with no dedicated graphics card: the machine is built for office work, video conferencing and video, not for demanding recent games.
Is the chassis sturdy enough for daily use on the move?
It complies with the US military standard MIL-STD-810H: operating shocks at 40 g, vibration from 5 to 500 Hz, 10 days at 95% humidity, blowing sand and dust, thermal shocks from −51 to 71 °C. All this at 1.70 kg and 17.9 mm thick.
Is the keyboard AZERTY, and does it have a numeric keypad?
Yes: a chiclet keyboard in French AZERTY with a built-in numeric keypad, handy for entering figures in a spreadsheet. The touchpad is a Precision touchpad.
Is this Asus Vivobook 15 new and under warranty?
