Frequently asked questions about this product

Is 128 GB enough for this iPad (A16)?
It is this model's base capacity. It is enough for apps, photos and a few series downloaded for offline viewing; if you store a lot of video, an external drive connects to the USB-C port, or you can opt for the 256 GB and 512 GB versions.
Is the Pink iPad (A16)'s USB-C port fast?
It runs at USB 2.0, 480 Mbps. That is enough to connect a dock, a display or a keyboard, and to retrieve files from time to time; on the other hand, offloading a card full of 4K footage to an external drive takes patience.
Which Apple Pencil works with the iPad (A16)?
The Apple Pencil (USB-C), which connects directly, and the Apple Pencil (1st generation), which requires the USB-C to Apple Pencil Adapter. Both are sold separately. They offer pixel-perfect precision and low latency for annotating, drawing or taking notes.
Does the Pink iPad (A16) get Apple Intelligence features?
No, they are reserved for the iPad Pro, iPad Air and iPad mini in the range. This iPad relies on the A16 chip and its 16-core Neural Engine for on-device processing: Live Text, Visual Look Up and 4K video editing work normally.
Is the 11-inch display readable near a window?
It reaches 500 nits and True Tone technology continuously adjusts the colours to the lighting in the room, which reduces eye strain. In direct sunlight, however, you will still need to find a bit of shade. The resolution is 2360 × 1640 pixels.
How does the front camera work during a video call?
The 12 MP sensor is on the long edge and Center Stage automatically reframes you when you move: you stay centred in the frame during a FaceTime call or a video conference, with the tablet set horizontally. Smart HDR 4 takes care of differences in lighting.
Are the iPad (A16)'s speakers stereo?
Yes, in landscape mode. With the tablet held horizontally, the two speakers are distributed on either side of the screen and give genuine left-right separation for a film or a series. The built-in microphones also let you record an audio track or a podcast.
Is the keyboard supplied with the 128 GB iPad (A16)?
No. The Magic Keyboard Folio is sold separately: detachable keyboard, adjustable back panel with stand, 14 function keys and a fully clickable trackpad, all attached magnetically. A simpler Smart Folio protects the front and back without a keyboard.
Can the iPad (A16) be unlocked with a fingerprint?
Yes, with Touch ID, housed in the top button: a press unlocks the tablet and approves a purchase. The gesture is the same whether the iPad is held in your hand or sitting in a folio case on a desk.
How much does the 11-inch iPad (A16) in Pink weigh?
477 g and 7 mm thick, in a recycled aluminium chassis. That is the weight of a large notebook: it can be held in one hand for a chapter and slips into a bag without a second thought. The Pink finish is one of the model's four colours, alongside Silver, Blue and Yellow.
Is this iPad new and covered by a warranty?
Yes, new and sealed, with a 1-year warranty; your invoice serves as proof. The chassis is made of recycled aluminium, in line with the carbon neutrality goal the brand has set for all its products by 2030.
