A field narrower than a wide angle: at 4 mm with an F2.0 aperture, it is made to monitor a driveway, a corridor or a gate from a distance rather than to take in an entire room.
What does this camera see in complete darkness?
It remains usable at 0 lux thanks to infrared, and goes down to 0.01 lux in colour (at F2.0, with automatic gain enabled). An infrared filter with automatic switching switches between day and night on its own.
Can this IPC2124LB-ADF40KM-H camera stay outdoors?
Yes: its housing is certified IP67 to the IEC 60529 standard, made of graphene and metal, weighing 390 g. It can be installed outdoors without added protection.
What difference does the 120 dB WDR dynamic range make?
It preserves detail in a high-contrast scene — a lit driveway facing a shaded area, a backlit gate. Without WDR, the subject becomes a black silhouette.
