The EY-EL2020 lowers and raises its 200 × 200 cm surface with a synchronous motor: the screen for a large room where the projection comes down and goes up several times a day, or one mounted too high for a pull cord.

The square surface takes a 16:9 image of 200 × 112.5 cm as well as a 4:3 image of 200 × 150 cm, across the whole width. At a throw ratio of 1.5, the projector goes 3 m from the screen to fill its width.
The motor runs on mains power: plan a power outlet near the case when choosing where the screen goes.

What image can be projected on the EY-EL2020?
An image of up to 200 × 200 cm. The surface is square (1:1 format): a 16:9 image measures 200 × 112.5 cm and a 4:3 image 200 × 150 cm, filling the whole width, with the rest of the surface left free. The square format thus accepts any projector, old or recent, without losing image width.
How does the EY-EL2020 screen unroll?
It is motorised: a synchronous motor lowers the surface for projection and then raises it again, with no pull cord to handle by hand. It is the screen for a room where the surface comes down and goes up several times a day, or for an installation mounted high, out of reach, where a manual screen would require a stepladder or a pole.
Do I need to plan a power supply?
Yes. The motor that unrolls the surface runs on mains power: you therefore need a socket or a power outlet near the case, to be planned when choosing where the screen goes. A manual screen such as the EY-MSL1818 does without it, but it is pulled down by hand and its surface measures 180 × 180 cm.
How far away should the projector be placed?
It depends on your projector's throw ratio, given in its specifications: the distance equals this ratio multiplied by the image width. To fill the 200 cm width of the EY-EL2020, a projector with a ratio of 1.5 is placed 3 m from the screen, and a short-throw model with a ratio of 0.5 only 1 m away.
What is the difference with the eyeplay 180 × 180 cm screens?
Size and mechanism. The EY-EL2020 offers a 200 × 200 cm surface lowered by a motor; the EY-MSL1818 wall screen is pulled down by hand in 180 × 180 cm, and the EY-TR1818 puts the same 180 cm surface on a mobile tripod. The motorised screen suits a large room equipped permanently, the other two smaller rooms.
