A colour printer, copier and scanner up to SRA3, the IM C3010 keeps up 30 pages per minute in black and in colour alike. This is the version with the 220-sheet SPDF feeder, which reads both sides of an original at the same time: the right choice for a team that scans as much as it prints.

Both sides read at once

The standard SPDF feeder holds 220 sheets and reads the front and back of a page in the same pass, without flipping the original. A stack of 220 double-sided sheets, that is 440 images, is scanned in under a minute and a half at 200 dpi. Ricoh reworked it for small originals and special paper: business cards and cheques go through the same feeder as A4 sheets.

Files go to e-mail, a network folder (SMB or FTP), a URL or a USB stick, as PDF, PDF/A, encrypted or digitally signed PDF, TIFF or JPEG. Searching the text of a PDF requires the optional OCR unit.

Thirty pages a minute, colour included

The pace does not drop when colour comes in: 30 A4 pages per minute in both modes. The first page is out in 4 seconds in black and 6.6 seconds in colour, the first copy in 4.5 and 6.9 seconds. Warm-up takes 24 seconds, waking from sleep 6.2 seconds. Print resolution reaches 1,200 × 1,200 dpi, 4,800 × 1,200 dpi equivalent.

From thin paper to card, all the way to banners

The trays take 60 to 300 g/m², the bypass 52 to 300 g/m², from A6 to SRA3, envelopes included. Automatic duplex follows up to 256 g/m²: a card cover prints on both sides with no handling. The bypass also takes labels and custom sizes up to 320 × 1,260 mm when printing; when copying, the length stops at 457.2 mm.

A screen that responds like a tablet

The third-generation Smart Operation Panel measures 10.1 inches; Ricoh improved its brightness, touch sensitivity and finger position detection. Across the IM C series, its capacitive panel tilts and runs Android 10. It has its own USB port for a memory stick.

With Always Current Technology, the firmware updates over the network and new applications install as needs arise, without changing hardware. From a phone, you print with AirPrint, Mopria or the RICOH Smart Device Connector app.

Documents protected down to the SSD

The 256 GB SSD is encrypted and backed by a TPM 2.0 hardware module. The wired network authenticates with 802.1x, the optional Wi-Fi with WPA3, and scans sent by e-mail as well as forwarded faxes are encrypted with S/MIME. Users sign in with their Windows or LDAP account; secure print holds a document until its owner releases it on the screen, and quotas cap consumption per user. The IM C series opens as many administrator accounts as needed, each with its own rights, and filters network access by port, protocol or IP address.

Awarded for its pace, frugal at rest

The IM C3010 received the 2025 DataMaster Print Award in the Best Print Productivity category and the 2025 BLI Pick Award from Keypoint Intelligence. The IM C series firmware, version 1.x, passed the same lab's 2024-2025 security validation, a device penetration test.

Its toner fuses at a lower temperature, so the machine heats less: typical electricity consumption is 0.3 kWh per week, 0.3 W in sleep mode. Half of its plastics are post-consumer recycled.

Four long-lasting toners

The black toner yields 40,000 pages, each cyan, magenta and yellow toner 28,000, on A4 at 5 % coverage. These are the Ricoh references for the IM C3010, shared with the IM C3510:

IM C3010 or IM C2010?

Both share the screen, memory, SSD and paper sizes. The Ricoh IM C2010 targets all-round use; the IM C3010 is built for high volumes, with 30 pages per minute instead of 20 and four other differences:

As standard, the IM C3010 comes with two 550-sheet trays, a 100-sheet bypass, the SPDF feeder, the duplex unit and a 500-sheet internal output tray. Everything else is optional:

The photos show the machine standing on extra trays, and one of them with a finisher: these are options, like Wi-Fi and fax, to be specified with the machine. The panel's Bluetooth is not used for printing. On its own, the machine weighs 99.3 kg for 587 × 701 × 963 mm: check door widths and plan a network socket nearby.
