3 months manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 3 months by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Which printers accept the HP 508A magenta toner (CF363A)?
The HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M552/M553 range (M553n, M553dn, M553x, M553dh) and the M577 multifunction printers (M577dn, M577f, Flow M577z). The magenta cartridge installed should carry the reference CF363A or 508A.
How many pages does an HP 508A magenta print?
About 5,000 pages, a yield declared in accordance with the ISO/IEC 19798 standard as a composite of cyan, yellow and magenta. The three colours are measured together over a set of standard test pages: a campaign heavy in red will empty the cartridge sooner.
What is the difference between the HP 508A and the HP 508X magenta?
The yield nearly doubles: 5,000 pages for the 508A (CF363A) against about 9,500 pages for the high-capacity 508X (CF363X). For a department that prints a lot of colour, the X significantly reduces the number of replacements.
Does black last longer than magenta on an M553?
Yes. The CF360A black is rated at about 6,000 pages, against 5,000 pages for each of the cyan, magenta and yellow colours. In the high-capacity version, the gap widens: 12,500 pages for black against 9,500 for the colours.
What is the JetIntelligence technology in HP 508 toners?
It is the set of features built into the cartridge: anti-fraud protection that authenticates the supply at installation, more reliable level gauges than on the previous generation, and page-maximising technology.
How can you be sure you will not receive a counterfeit cartridge?
The printer itself performs the authentication: the anti-fraud protection built into every HP LaserJet toner with JetIntelligence verifies the cartridge when it is installed. A counterfeit is therefore flagged as soon as it is inserted, with no visual check needed on your part.
What does ColorSphere 3 toner bring to fast printing?
Its low melting point: the powder fuses to the paper more quickly, which lets the M553 or M577 maintain the speed it was designed for without any loss of quality. That is what sets this generation of toner apart from the previous one.
What are the dimensions of an HP 508A cartridge?
395 × 147 × 161 mm, the same dimensions for all four colours in the range, in standard and high capacity alike. Allow for the corresponding storage space if you keep a full set in reserve.
Can you monitor the toner level before it runs out completely?
Yes. The gauges of this generation are stated to be more reliable than those of previous cartridges, which lets you forecast levels consistently and order the replacement at the right time rather than in a rush.
Can the 508A magenta toner be safely kept in reserve?
Yes. A laser cartridge holds a dry powder: nothing dries out, nothing clogs. That is why departments that cannot afford a stoppage always keep a full set of colours in reserve next to the printer.
Is the CF363A enough to get the M553 working again?
It only supplies magenta. The CF360A black, CF361A cyan and CF362A yellow are three separate references: check all four levels before ordering, or risk a second stoppage shortly after the first.
Is this HP 508A magenta toner new and under warranty?
