1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Which printers take the Lexmark C746A1MG magenta toner?
The Lexmark C746 (C746n, C746dn, C746dtn), the C748 (C748e, C748de, C748dte) and the X746de, X748de and X748dte multifunction printers. The reference to look for on the magenta cartridge currently installed is C746A1MG.
How many pages does the C746A1MG magenta cartridge print?
Up to 7,000 standard pages, a composite cyan, magenta and yellow yield declared in accordance with ISO/IEC 19798, in single-sided printing. Double-sided printing or pages with heavy coverage reduce this figure.
What does the Lexmark Return Program mean for this cartridge?
The cartridge is patented and sold at a lower price in exchange for a licence agreement: it is used only once and returned to Lexmark for remanufacturing or recycling. Cartridges sold without this condition are also available.
Can the magenta cartridge be refilled after use?
No. It is licensed for single use only and designed to stop working after delivering a set quantity of toner. For a refillable supply, look to the versions sold outside the Return Program.
Is there any toner left in the cartridge when the machine asks for a replacement?
Yes, a variable amount — Lexmark states this explicitly. The cartridge stops at a set threshold, not at the very last particle: the stated 7,000 pages already take this into account.
Does the cartridge change the printer's memory?
Yes. It automatically updates the machine's memory to protect it against counterfeit or unauthorised third-party cartridges being installed. It is a safeguard built into the Return Program.
How much space does the box of a C746 cartridge take up?
201 × 346 × 78 mm for about 1.08 kg. These are the dimensions of the packaging, not of the cartridge alone: a full set of colours fits on a standard shelf in a supplies cabinet.
What happens to the Lexmark cartridge once it is empty?
It is sent back through the Lexmark collection programme, which takes back the brand's used supplies. The return is stated to be free of charge, and it is part of the commitment made at purchase.
Does the C746A1MG print anything other than magenta?
No, only magenta. Black, cyan and yellow are separate references on the C746 and C748: check all four levels before ordering, as these workgroup printers will not restart without the missing colour.
Is this Lexmark C746A1MG cartridge new and under warranty?
Yes, it is a new, genuine Lexmark supply, reference C746A1MG. The invoice serves as the warranty document, for 1 year. Keep it in case a defect is found on the cartridge.
