1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Which printers take the HP 87X toner (CF287X)?
The HP LaserJet Enterprise M506 (M506dn, M506x) and the M527 multifunction printers (M527c, M527dn, M527f). HP also lists it for the LaserJet Pro M501 (M501dn, M501n) and the LaserJet E52545, Flow versions included.
How many pages does the HP 87X Black toner last?
About 18,000 pages, an average yield determined in accordance with ISO/IEC 19752, the standard for monochrome supplies. Actual yield varies considerably depending on the content of the printed pages.
What does the “X” in HP 87X stand for?
It denotes the high-yield version. Compared with the 87A from the same series, which tops out at around 8,550 pages, this 87X is rated at 18,000: more than double, for a barely larger footprint and half as many replacements.
Is the HP 87X suitable for a printer shared by a whole department?
Yes, that is what it is made for. On the M506 and M527, printers designed for a workgroup, 18,000 pages represent several months of output without intervention: that is what justifies paying more for the cartridge up front than for a standard one.
Is the HP 87X a genuine HP toner?
Yes, it is a genuine HP LaserJet cartridge. It is designed together with the printer, which delivers crisp, sharp black text and consistent greyscale throughout the life of the cartridge.
Does the HP 87X toner contain recycled plastic?
Yes. HP uses recycled plastic in its original cartridges, which reduces the plastic waste generated accordingly — a criterion that carries all the more weight as a high-yield cartridge represents a large volume of material.
Can a spare HP 87X cartridge sit on the shelf for several months?
Yes. Toner is a powder: nothing dries out and no nozzle clogs, unlike liquid ink. On a workgroup printer, keeping a spare cartridge in its packaging is actually standard practice, so that output never stops.
Is the HP 87X Black toner new and under warranty?
Yes, new and sealed in its HP packaging. Your invoice serves as the warranty document and covers 1 year: keep it with the box, as it is what is requested for an exchange.
