3 months manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 3 months by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Which printers take the HP 307A Black toner (CE740A)?
The HP Color LaserJet CP5220 range, that is, the CP5225 and its variants, including the CP5225dn. These are A3 colour machines: check the full model number shown on the front panel before ordering.
How many pages does the HP 307A Black toner last?
7,000 standard pages, a yield declared in accordance with the ISO/IEC 19798 standard. Actual yields vary considerably depending on the images printed: a document heavy in graphics falls well below this benchmark.
Does black last longer than the colours in the HP 307 series?
No, it is the other way round here: the CE740A Black is rated at 7,000 pages, whereas the cyan, yellow and magenta in the same series are each rated at 7,300. The gap is small, but it defeats the reflex of stocking up on black only.
What is HP ColorSphere toner?
It is the powder formulation used in these cartridges. It aims for consistent results across a wide range of professional laser papers, so that financial, sales or engineering documents come out identical from one print run to the next.
Does the printer warn you when the 307A toner is running out?
Yes. Built-in cartridge intelligence lets you track toner usage and receive low-level alerts; across a printer fleet, ordering information for several printers can be consolidated in one place.
How much space do you need to store an HP 307A cartridge?
Much more than you might think: 492 × 188 × 225 mm, nearly 50 cm long. It is a cartridge for an A3 machine — set aside a dedicated shelf next to the printer, not a desk drawer.
Can the black be replaced on its own on a CP5225?
Yes. The four colours of the 307 series are separate cartridges, each in its own slot: the black is changed without touching the cyan, yellow or magenta left in place.
What should you do with an empty HP 307A cartridge?
HP offers free recycling of returned cartridges through its Planet Partners programme, whose geographical coverage varies. Failing that, do not throw it out with household waste: the plastic shell and the residual powder can be recovered.
Is the HP 307A Black toner new and under warranty?
