3 months manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 3 months by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Which printer uses the HP 307A magenta toner (CE743A)?
It fits the HP Color LaserJet CP5225, from the CP5220 series, also called the P5225. The magenta cartridge already installed should be marked CE743A or 307A: that is the safest check before ordering.
What is the real yield of an HP 307A magenta?
7,300 standard pages, a figure declared in accordance with the ISO/IEC 19798 standard. This standard measures cyan, yellow and magenta together over a series of standard test pages: material heavy in pink or red will use up the cartridge before reaching that figure.
Does the magenta run out before the black on a CP5225?
No, rather the opposite. The magenta, cyan and yellow are each rated at 7,300 pages, against 7,000 pages for the CE740A black cartridge. On this range, it is therefore the black that needs replacing first.
How big is a CE743A cartridge?
492 × 188 × 225 mm. Nearly 50 cm long: a CP5225 cartridge will not fit in a desk drawer. Set aside a shelf if you keep several colours in reserve, which remains the best way to avoid a production stoppage.
How can you plan ahead for replacing the magenta toner?
HP cartridges send a low-level alert and let you track consumption, with orders consolidated across a fleet of printers. You see the end of the cartridge coming instead of discovering it on the morning of a deadline.
What is the HP ColorSphere toner used by the 307A?
It is this range's powder formulation, designed for consistent results across a wide range of laser papers. It is aimed at financial, sales, design and engineering documents, where solid areas of colour have to sit alongside sharp black text.
Can a magenta toner dry out if it waits several months in reserve?
No. Laser printing works with a dry powder: nothing evaporates and nothing clogs a nozzle while it waits. A cartridge kept in reserve in its carton remains usable, which is not the case for an inkjet cartridge left too long.
Does the CE743A cover the other colours of the CP5225?
No, it only supplies magenta. The CE740A black, CE741A cyan and CE742A yellow are three separate references. Check all four levels at once: that is what prevents the machine being out of action twice within a fortnight.
Is this HP 307A magenta toner new and under warranty?
Yes, it is a new, genuine HP toner. The invoice serves as the warranty document, for 3 months on this reference. Full technical details: HP Color LaserJet CP5220 supplies.
