What functions does the HP DeskJet Plus Ink Advantage 6475 printer offer?
It is a 4-in-1 multifunction printer: printing, copying, scanning and mobile fax (sending faxes via the HP Smart app).
Does the HP DeskJet 6475 do automatic duplex printing?
Yes: it offers automatic duplex printing, a feature that is rare at this price point, with no need to turn the sheets over by hand.
Is there an automatic document feeder (ADF)?
Yes: a 35-sheet automatic document feeder lets you scan and copy multi-page documents without placing them on the glass one by one.
Is a USB cable supplied with the HP DeskJet 6475?
No: the USB cable is not included and has to be bought separately. You can also use the printer over Wi-Fi, with no cable.
Does the printer connect over Wi-Fi or Ethernet?
It connects via dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0 and USB 2.0. However, it has no Ethernet (RJ-45) port.
What cartridges does the HP DeskJet Plus Ink Advantage 6475 use?
It works with 2 HP 653 cartridges (1 black + 1 tri-colour) and comes with starter cartridges. Indicative yield: ~360 pages in black and ~200 pages in colour.
What happens if only one ink colour runs out?
The colour cartridge is a single tri-colour cartridge: if just one colour (cyan, magenta or yellow) runs out, you have to replace the whole colour cartridge. This is how this type of printer normally works.
Do you have to use genuine HP cartridges?
Yes: this printer has dynamic security enabled and is designed for cartridges with genuine HP electronic circuitry. Non-HP cartridges may not work, including after an update.
What paper sizes and types does the HP 6475 accept?
It supports A4, A5, B5, DL, C6 and A6 sizes, plain, photo, matte and brochure paper, and borderless printing (up to 216 x 297 mm). Photo paper can go up to 300 g/m².
Does the HP DeskJet 6475 printer have a control screen?
No: it has no LCD screen, with Cap Sense touch buttons and notification icons instead. Detailed control is done through the HP Smart app on a smartphone or computer.
What is the print speed of the HP DeskJet 6475?
