1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Which printers take the HP 659A Black (W2010A) toner?
The HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M776 series multifunction printers, including the Flow versions, and the M856 series. Note the full model number from the machine's label before ordering: within the same Enterprise family, neighbouring series use other cartridge ranges.
How many pages does the HP 659A Black toner last?
Approximately 16,000 pages. This is an average yield measured according to the ISO/IEC 19798 standard, which standardises the test pages so that figures can be compared from one brand to another. The actual yield varies considerably depending on the content of the printed pages.
Is the imaging drum included with the HP 659A toner?
No, they are two separate parts: HP designed the 659 series in two parts, the toner cartridge on one side and the imaging drum on the other. This reference is the black toner cartridge only, and it is precisely this split that lets you replace only the part that is actually exhausted instead of throwing everything away together.
What is the difference between the HP 659A and the HP 659X?
The X is the high-yield version: the 659X Black (W2010X) is rated at 34,000 pages versus 16,000 for this 659A, in a housing of identical dimensions. HP states that high-yield cartridges are never supplied with the printer: they are purchased separately.
Does the black last longer than the colours in the HP 659 series?
Yes. The 659A Black delivers 16,000 pages, whereas the 659A Cyan, Yellow and Magenta are rated at 13,000 pages each. In a fleet that mainly prints text documents, it is nonetheless the black that you need to keep in stock.
Do you need to remove a sealing tape before fitting the cartridge?
No. The seal is removed automatically when the cartridge is inserted: no tape to pull, no toner on your fingers. You take the cartridge out of its packaging, insert it, and the printer does the rest — a real time-saver when a technician services several machines.
Can toner consumption be tracked across a fleet of several printers?
Yes. The HP print gauge technology built into the cartridge reports the toner level, and HP Web Jetadmin centralises this tracking across all machines: you see replacements coming instead of being caught out by them.
Does the HP 659A toner use less energy when printing?
Yes. The toner in 659 cartridges is formulated with a low melting point: it fuses to the paper at a lower temperature, so the printer's fuser heats less for the same result. The long-life drum also reduces the material consumed over time.
Is the HP 659A Black a genuine HP toner?
Yes. It is a genuine HP cartridge, featuring JetIntelligence and ColorSphere 3 technologies, and covered by HP's Premium Protection warranty, which guarantees it parts and labour against defects in materials and workmanship.
How much space does a spare HP 659A cartridge take up?
It is bulky: 483 × 155 × 198 mm, nearly 50 cm long. Plan for a dedicated shelf next to the machine rather than a drawer, and keep it flat in its box until replacement day.
What does the optimised print mode of HP 659 cartridges offer?
It widens the range of colours the printer can reproduce. Combined with ColorSphere 3 toner, it is aimed at business documents and marketing materials where solid areas and gradients must stay consistent, rather than simply churning out text.
Is the HP 659A Black toner new and under warranty?
