1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Which printers accept the HP 212A yellow toner (W2122A)?
The HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M554dn, M555dn and M555x, as well as the Flow M578c, M578dn and M578f multifunction printers. The yellow cartridge currently installed must carry the reference W2122A or 212A.
How many pages does the HP 212A yellow print?
4,500 pages, a composite cyan, yellow and magenta yield declared in accordance with ISO/IEC 19798. The three colours are measured together on a series of standard test pages: it is an average for mixed use.
What do you gain by switching to the HP 212X yellow?
The yield goes from 4,500 to 10,000 pages per cartridge (W2122X), more than double. One point worth knowing before counting on it: 212X cartridges are not supplied with the printer; they are bought separately.
Does black last longer than yellow on an M555?
Yes: 5,500 pages for the W2120A black versus 4,500 pages for the three colours. At high capacity, the gap widens markedly: 13,000 pages for black versus 10,000 for the colours.
How can I tell whether a cartridge has already been used before it reaches me?
The printer detects it: HP anti-fraud technology helps identify whether a cartridge is genuine, previously used or counterfeit. The cartridges also carry tamper-proof chips, right through to the packaging.
How much recycled material does an HP 212A cartridge contain?
100% of original HP toner cartridges contain recycled material, in a proportion of between 5 and 45% post-consumer or post-industrial content depending on the reference. Toner bottles are not included.
Does this toner affect the printer's power consumption?
Yes: HP LaserJet printers and cartridges with JetIntelligence use less energy than toner generations prior to 2015, as measured using the Energy Star methodology.
Does the choice of toner affect office air quality?
HP presents it as a criterion for this range: original cartridges aim to maintain office air quality as well as print quality. A point worth considering for an enclosed room where the machine runs all day.
Can you anticipate when the yellow cartridge will run out?
Yes. Print gauge technology intelligently tracks the toner level to signal the end of the cartridge before it runs dry, and page-maximising technology ensures the powder is used efficiently.
What difference does ColorSphere 3 toner make on an M578?
It is designed to keep up with the speed the machine was built for while delivering vivid colours and consistent professional quality. That is what saves you from slowing down printing to get a clean result.
What are the dimensions and weight of an HP 212A cartridge?
395 × 147 × 161 mm and about 0.86 kg, dimensions shared by all eight references in the range. Set aside a suitable shelf if you keep a full set of colours near the machine.
Can the W2122A print the other colours?
No, it only supplies yellow. The W2120A black, W2121A cyan and W2123A magenta are three separate references: check all four levels at once before ordering.
Is this HP 212A yellow toner new and under warranty?
