1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

What is a red ink bottle for on a PIXMA G640?
To achieve deep, vibrant reds that cyan, magenta and yellow inks alone render less faithfully. It is a dedicated shade, with its own tank, designed for photo projects and graphic documents where the accuracy of the reds is immediately visible.
Do the stated 3,800 pages apply to this single bottle?
Yes. The 60 ml bottle of GI-43R alone lasts about 3,800 pages — this is a yield per bottle, not the total for an ink set. Enough to space out refills considerably on an ink tank printer.
Which printers can the Canon GI-43R bottle be poured into?
It is listed as compatible with the Canon PIXMA G640 and G540, two ink tank printers from the MegaTank family. Check the reference given in your machine's manual: Canon's GI ranges do not overlap from one series to another.
Do you need to change a cartridge, or fill a tank?
Fill a tank. Canon's PIXMA G printers belong to the MegaTank family: each colour has a built-in tank that you refill from the bottle. You handle a 60 ml bottle, not a unit to click into place.
Can you buy the red on its own, without buying the whole ink set again?
Yes. Each shade in the GI-43 series is sold as a separate bottle: you refill the red tank without touching the others. That is what sets an ink tank system apart from a multicolour cartridge, where a single empty colour puts the whole unit out of action.
Is GI-43R ink genuine Canon, and what warranty does it carry?
Genuine, reference 4716C001AA, new in its Canon packaging. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year. Keep it: it is the document that will be requested if you make a claim.
