1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Presque parfait

C'est une souris bien bâtie logitech. Seulement j'aurais aimé que 2 choses ne sois pas présente : - Un bruit lorsque je la secoue un peu fort. - Le bruit des deux boutons lorsqu'on clique. j'aurais aimé une souris silencieuse.

Is the battery rechargeable, and what do you do when it runs out?
No, it is not rechargeable: the M185 runs on one AA battery, included and already installed, rated for 12 months of battery life. You replace it yourself with a standard AA battery from any shop. No built-in battery to have replaced: the mouse never becomes unusable because of a worn-out cell.
Are the 12 months of battery life guaranteed?
It is an order of magnitude, not a constant: battery life varies with the environment and how the mouse is used. The running cost comes down to about one AA battery a year, with no cable or charging station to plan for.
Does the nano receiver have to stay plugged in all the time?
Yes, and that is by design: it is discreet enough to stay plugged into a laptop permanently, which stops you misplacing it. The trade-off is one USB port permanently taken up — worth checking if your machine only has two, USB flash drive and external drive included.
Do you need to install software or a driver to use it?
No. The mouse is ready to use immediately, with no software: you plug the nano receiver into a free USB port and click away, with no driver to install. The 2.4 GHz wireless connection provides fast data transmission without signal loss.
Does it work on a Mac or under Linux?
Yes, as well as on Windows. The system requirements cover Mac OS X 10.5 and later and Linux kernels 2.6 and above, and from XP onwards on the Windows side. The only hardware requirement is a free USB port: there is no specific driver to install on these systems.
What exactly is in the box?
The mouse, its USB nano receiver, one AA battery already installed and the user documentation. Nothing else is needed to get started: no cable, no software. As for controls, you get three buttons and a scroll wheel, in a contoured format shaped to fit the hand.
Is the mouse new and under warranty?
Yes: a new product, sealed in its original packaging, supplied with its invoice, which serves as the warranty document for 1 year. The nano receiver, the battery and the documentation are in the original box, never repackaged. Full specifications are in the Logitech datasheet (PDF).
