1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is the HP 154A a cartridge or a reload kit?
It is a reload kit, not a cartridge. It is designed for the HP LaserJet Tank system, where the toner is poured into a reservoir built into the printer: you replace no mechanical part, you simply add more powder.
Do you need to buy a drum in addition to the HP 154A reload kit?
No. HP states it plainly: “no hidden costs, the long-life imaging drum is included in the printer”. On this system, the only consumable to buy again is therefore the powder itself.
How long does a toner reload take on a LaserJet Tank?
Approximately 15 seconds, according to HP internal testing and provided the instructions are followed. The kit is designed to empty without leaks or spills: that is precisely what sets a genuine reload apart from a makeshift refill.
Which printers take the HP 154A reload kit?
The HP LaserJet Tank MFP 1602a, 1602w and 1604w, and the entire 2602 to 2606 range in its dn, sdn, sdw, dw, dc and dsw versions. Note the full model number on the machine's label before ordering.
How many pages does an HP 154A reload kit give?
Approximately 2,500 pages, an average yield established according to the ISO/IEC 19752 standard, the one for monochrome consumables. Actual yield varies considerably depending on the content of the printed pages.
Is there a larger reload kit than the HP 154A?
Yes, the HP 154X (W1540X), which goes up to 5,000 pages, twice as many. HP specifies that these high-yield kits are not included with the printer and are purchased separately.
Why is a reload kit so small compared with a cartridge?
Because it contains only powder: 107 × 60 × 173 mm, the size of a large medicine box. All the mechanics — drum, rollers — stay in the printer, which also explains why it can be stored anywhere.
Does the HP 154A kit generate less waste than a cartridge?
Yes. HP states over 75% less plastic by weight than the previous-generation kits, a design with fewer materials to make sorting easier, and take-back through the Planet Partners programme.
Does the LaserJet Tank system meet eco-label emission criteria?
Yes. HP states that the printing system — machine, HP toner and paper — meets the Blue Angel DE-UZ 219 emission criteria or the earlier versions applicable when the system was launched.
Can you be alerted when the toner level is getting low?
Yes, through the HP Smart app, which flags a low level and makes reordering the kit easier. The app requires an HP account and internet access, and its features vary by country.
Who is the HP LaserJet Tank system for?
Small and micro businesses that mainly print black text pages and want a very low cost per page. It is a deliberate trade-off: little colour, a lot of monochrome volume, and a consumable reduced to its simplest form.
Is the HP 154A reload kit new and under warranty?
Yes, new and sealed in its HP packaging. Your invoice serves as the warranty document and covers 1 year. Full details are in the HP 154A datasheet (PDF).
