Yes, a 500 GB hard drive, in addition to 128 GB of memory for processing. It lets you keep jobs on the machine and reprint without resending the file — a real time-saver when the same drawing goes out several times over the course of a project.
How long does the Canon TX-3100 take to print an A1 drawing?
18 seconds in economy fast mode, or 3.2 pages/min. An A0 takes 34 seconds in that same mode, 37 seconds in fast mode and 1 min 04 in standard mode: three speeds to choose from depending on what the print is for.
Can you print from a USB flash drive on the Canon TX-3100?
Yes, its USB Type-A port accepts direct printing of JPEG and PDF files from a flash drive, without a computer. The machine also connects via Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Hi-Speed USB.
Which ink tanks does the Canon imagePROGRAF TX-3100 use?
The PFI-110 (160 ml), PFI-310 (330 ml) and PFI-710 (700 ml), in five pigment inks. The machine is supplied with 330 ml of matte black and 160 ml of each of the other four: the 700 ml tanks, for their part, significantly lower the cost per metre in production.
Do you have to stop the Canon TX-3100 to change an ink?
