It uses an IPS panel with wide 178°/178° viewing angles. Colours stay sharp and uniform even from the side, which is comfortable for work as well as for multimedia.
Does the S30GD monitor really run at 100 Hz, and how do I enable it?
Yes, it goes up to 100 Hz for smoother display than a standard 60 Hz. Note: the rate is set to 60 Hz by default; you need to switch it to 100 Hz in the monitor settings (and set the source to 100 Hz).
Does this Samsung monitor have built-in speakers?
No, the S30GD has neither speakers nor a headphone output. For sound, you need to use your computer's audio output or external speakers/headphones.
Which cables are supplied with the S30GD monitor?
