What cables come with the Dell Pro 22 monitor?
The box contains the power cable and a 1.80 m DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable, along with the stand, the quick start guide and the safety information. This cable is enough to use 100 Hz straight out of the box. For an HDMI or VGA connection, you will need the corresponding cable.
Does 100 Hz work on both digital inputs?
Yes. Both the HDMI port and the DisplayPort 1.2 port display Full HD 1920 × 1080 at 100 Hz, both with HDCP 1.4. The VGA port, for its part, is for connecting an older machine.
What does a VA panel bring to an office monitor?
Contrast. The vertical alignment (VA) panel delivers a native contrast ratio of 3,000:1, with 250 cd/m² brightness and viewing angles of 178° horizontally and vertically. The backlight is LED, on a flat panel with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
Can the height of the E2225HM monitor be adjusted?
The stand supplied adjusts tilt only, from -5° to +21°. For height, swivel or portrait mode, you need an arm or a VESA 100 × 100 mount, purchased separately. The monitor's 2.29 kg makes this mounting very easy.
What is the real response time of this monitor?
Two values, for two different settings: 5 ms GTG in fast mode and 8 ms grey-to-grey. Combined with the 100 Hz refresh rate, they comfortably cover office work, browsing and video. It is not, however, a monitor aimed at competitive gaming.
How much power does the Dell Pro 22 use over a working day?
11.9 W in operation and 0.3 W in standby. On a workstation left on all day, consumption remains marginal — a point that matters when equipping several workstations in the same office.
Is visual comfort certified for long days in front of the screen?
