Is the PCIe riser included with the Hyte Y40?
Yes, a PCIe 4.0 riser is included for vertical graphics card mounting. Most competitors sell this accessory separately: here, it comes in the box.
What graphics card fits in the Hyte Y40?
Up to 422 mm in length, with a CPU cooler up to 183 mm tall. These are two of the most generous dimensions in the category.
What does the Y40's dual-chamber design bring?
It separates the power supply and cables from the components, with a cool floor: fresh air comes in from below without passing through an already heated zone. The interior stays tidy without any cable-management effort.
How many expansion slots does the Hyte Y40 offer?
Four PCI slots. This determines how many expansion cards can be installed once the graphics card is in place.
What is on the front panel of the Hyte Y40?
A USB-C port, USB-A ports and a combo audio jack. The Type-C port saves you an adapter for an external SSD or a recent phone.
How many drives can be installed in the Hyte Y40?
Two 2.5-inch drives or one 3.5-inch. It is a showcase case, designed with SSDs in mind: mechanical storage is kept to the bare minimum.
What water cooling can be fitted in the Y40?
A radiator of up to 360 mm, with several fan mounts spread across the case's two chambers.
Is this red Hyte Y40 case new and under warranty?
Yes, it is a new Hyte product, reference CS-HYTE-Y40-BR, with a two-piece tempered glass panel. The invoice serves as the warranty document, for 1 year. Keep it in case a defect is found.
