What does the HP S3 Pro 324pv's VA panel bring?
A contrast ratio of 3000:1, three times that of a typical IPS panel: blacks are deeper, which shows on a video or a dark document. Brightness is 250 cd/m², suitable for a normally lit office.
What video inputs does the HP S3 Pro 324pv offer?
One HDMI 1.4 input and one VGA input. From a laptop whose only video output is USB-C, you will therefore need a USB-C to HDMI adapter, after checking that this port supports video on your machine.
Is this HP monitor's 100 Hz useful for office work?
Yes: at 100 Hz, scrolling a page and cursor movements are sharper than at 60 Hz, which is easier on the eyes over a full day. The response time is 5 ms grey-to-grey with overdrive.
