Non-contractual photos

The visuals on this page are supplied by the manufacturer. They are frequently produced for a whole range — not for the exact model you are viewing: what you see in the photo is never a promise of what is included.

No exchange, return or cancellation will be accepted on the grounds that something seen in a photo (accessory, port, colour, keyboard layout, packaging…) is not found on the delivered product. Only the specifications written on the page are binding for the order.

What the image does not guarantee:

  • Keyboard : manufacturers' images are international: our computers ship with an AZERTY (French) keyboard, even when the photo shows a QWERTY one.
  • Visible features : a fingerprint reader, backlit keyboard, webcam, numeric keypad or card reader glimpsed in the image are not necessarily present on this exact reference.
  • Ports and connectors : the number, type and position of the ports (USB, USB-C, HDMI, RJ45) change from one configuration to another within a single photographed series.
  • Display : the image shown on the screen is a composite; resolution, touch panel and bezel thinness are those of the specifications.
  • Operating system : the Windows desktop visible in the photo implies neither a Windows licence nor an Office suite installed: the specifications state the system actually delivered.
  • Colour : one image often serves several colours, and the shade you see depends on studio lighting as much as on your screen settings; the colour sold is the one in the title and the specifications.
  • Props and accessories : the items shown around the product (cables, stands, decorative objects, content displayed on screen) are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • Packaging : boxes, labels and bundles change with the manufacturer's revisions: the packaging delivered may differ from the one in the photo.

What is binding: the product title, this page's technical specifications, the description and, when provided, the manufacturer's PDF datasheet available in the downloads.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Can the memory in this HP Omen 16-wf1016nk be upgraded?
Yes, by replacing the modules. The two accessible slots are filled with 2 × 8 GB of DDR5-5600, i.e. 16 GB in dual-channel. To move up to 32 GB, you therefore need to remove both modules rather than add one.
What does the “HX” in the Core i9-14900HX of this HP Omen 16 mean?
HX denotes Intel's most power-hungry variant, derived from its desktop chips. This i9-14900HX packs 24 cores and 32 threads at up to 5.8 GHz: the profile of a workstation as much as a gaming machine.
Is the 2 TB SSD in this HP Omen 16-wf1016nk useful for gaming?
Yes: a recent game commonly takes up more than 100 GB, and 2 TB of PCIe Gen4 NVMe lets you keep around fifteen of them installed without juggling between the internal drive and external storage.
What battery life can you expect from this HP Omen 16-wf1016nk?
Up to 6 hours 15 minutes in general use — a normal order of magnitude for a machine with an HX processor and dedicated graphics. When gaming, plan to stay plugged into the 280 W adapter supplied.
How good is the RTX 4070 in this HP Omen 16-wf1016nk?
It is a dedicated card with 8 GB of GDDR6, G-Sync compatible: the display synchronises with it, which eliminates screen tearing and stuttering when the frame rate varies. These 8 GB are its own and take nothing from the system memory.
What ports does this HP Omen 16-wf1016nk have?
Two Thunderbolt 4 ports at 40 Gb/s with charging and DisplayPort 1.4, two USB-A — one of which charges a phone while the machine is in sleep mode —, one HDMI 2.1, one RJ-45 network port, a headphone jack and the power input.
Is the keyboard of this HP Omen 16-wf1016nk suited to gaming?
Yes: 4-zone RGB backlighting and, above all, anti-ghosting technology with 26-key rollover — in other words, up to 26 keys pressed simultaneously are recognised, where an ordinary keyboard drops some during fast combinations.
Is this HP Omen 16-wf1016nk new and ready to play?
Yes, it is new and sealed, with Windows 11 Home already installed and a 1-year warranty for which the invoice serves as the warranty document. It weighs 2.39 kg and has a 165 Hz display and a Wi-Fi 6E card.
