1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does this HP hub support two 4K monitors?
Yes, but at 30 Hz: it is one 4K monitor at 60 Hz or two 4K monitors at 30 Hz. The outputs are one HDMI 2.0 and one DisplayPort 1.2.
Does this HP 50H98AA hub charge the laptop?
Yes, through its USB-C pass-through port, with up to 65 W passed to the computer. The charger is not included: the box contains the hub, the documentation and the warranty.
Is my laptop compatible with this HP hub?
Its USB-C port must support DisplayPort Alt Mode — otherwise there will be no video output. The hub is specified for Windows 10 and 11, macOS and Chrome OS, whatever the brand of computer.
Can the IT department deploy a workstation through this hub?
Yes: its RJ45 port supports PXE boot, Wake-on-LAN and MAC address pass-through — the three functions that an enterprise network deployment requires.
How fast are this hub's USB ports?
Two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports and one USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port, i.e. 5 Gbps per port. That is the right speed for flash drives, keyboards and backup drives.
Is this hub's cable detachable?
No: the USB-C cable is captive, attached to the casing. Nothing extra to carry, but nothing you can replace either if the connector breaks.
