1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

How many displays does this Dell SD25 dock drive?
Up to four, depending on the resolution: 4 WQHD 3440 × 1440 displays at 60 Hz, 2 5K displays or 1 6K display (6144 × 3456) at 60 Hz. The higher the resolution, the fewer the displays.
How much power does this dock deliver to my laptop?
130 W on a Dell system, but 96 W on another brand. The difference comes from Dell's proprietary protocol: on a laptop from another brand, count on 96 W.
What video connectors does this Dell Pro SD25 have?
Two DisplayPort 1.4, one HDMI 2.1 and one multifunction USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port with DisplayPort 1.4. The three dedicated outputs are therefore joined by a fourth via USB-C.
Is this dock's network port Gigabit?
Better: it runs at 2.5 Gbps, two and a half times the throughput of a standard Gigabit port. The switch at the other end still has to keep up, otherwise the link drops back to 1 Gbps.
How many USB ports does the Dell SD25 dock offer?
Four USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, one of them multifunction with DisplayPort 1.4 output. Second generation means 10 Gbps per port.
Can this Dell dock be managed by the IT department?
Yes: it supports remote management and firmware updates from the Dell management console, with no software on the workstation and no need for the user to be present. Updates can be scheduled outside office hours.
Does this Dell Pro SD25 dock work with a Mac?
Yes: the supported systems are Windows 10 and 11, macOS, ChromeOS, Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. It is one of the most open docks in this category.
