This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does this Lenovo docking station really charge at 100 W?
No: with the 100 W power adapter supplied, the docking station delivers 65 W to the computer. 100 W charging requires the model with the 135 W adapter, which is a different part number.
How many displays does this USB4 Dock 5000 docking station drive?
One 8K display at 60 Hz, two 4K displays at 144 Hz or four 4K displays at 60 Hz. This is made possible by the 40 Gbps USB4 bandwidth, four times that of USB-C 3.2 Gen 2.
What video outputs does this Lenovo docking station offer?
Two DisplayPort 1.4, one HDMI 2.1 and one full-function USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port that also carries DisplayPort 1.4. That makes four video paths for four displays.
Do all the USB ports on this docking station run at the same speed?
No: at the front, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one of which is always powered at 12 W, plus a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2; at the back, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 at 4.5 W and a full-function USB-C 3.2 Gen 2. Keep the front for charging a phone.
Does wake-on-LAN work with any laptop?
No: Wake-on-LAN, PXE boot and MAC address pass-through are stated for most Lenovo ThinkPad laptops, and may not be available on computers from other brands. The Gigabit RJ45 port, however, works with all of them.
Do you need to install a driver for this Lenovo docking station?
Yes, a driver is required. Supported systems are Windows 10 and later, macOS Sonoma and macOS Sequoia.
What is in the box of this ThinkPad USB4 Dock 5000 docking station?
The docking station with its built-in 1-metre USB4 cable, a 100 W power adapter, a power cord, a setup guide and the warranty booklet.
Can this docking station be locked against theft?
Yes: it has two Kensington lock slots. Useful in a shared workspace or a meeting room, where the docking station stays on the desk overnight.
