1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the dock charge a laptop that is not a Dell?
Yes, but the power changes: 130 W on Dell systems versus 96 W on other brands. Compare these 96 W with the wattage printed on your laptop's original charger to see whether the dock can keep it at full charge.
How many displays can the SD25TB4 drive, and at what resolution?
Up to 4 displays simultaneously. The stated combinations range from 4 × 4K (3840 × 2160) at 60 Hz to 2 × 6K (6144 × 3456) at 60 Hz or 1 × 8K (7680 × 4320) at 60 Hz. Every screen stays at 60 Hz, even in quad 4K.
What video outputs does this docking station have?
It offers 2 DisplayPort 1.4, 1 HDMI 2.1 and 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports. DisplayPort and HDMI monitors therefore connect directly, with no extra adapter to buy.
Is the dock's network port limited to Gigabit?
No: the RJ45 port goes up to 2.5 Gbps (2.5GbE). As the RJ45 is built into the dock, there is no network adapter to carry around with the laptop.
Can the firmware be updated without tying up a workstation?
Yes. The dock supports firmware updates without a PC connected and offers remote management features. Across a company's fleet of computers, the IT department can therefore keep the docks up to date without taking users' computers out of action.
Does it work on macOS and Linux, or only on Windows?
The supported systems are Windows 10, Windows 11, macOS, ChromeOS, Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Professional Linux distributions are therefore explicitly covered, not just the Windows world.
How many USB devices can stay plugged into the dock?
It offers 4 USB-A ports and 1 USB-C port, all USB 3.2 Gen 2, in addition to the 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports. Keyboard, mouse, external drive, headset and USB flash drive can therefore stay permanently connected on the desk.
Is the dock new and under warranty?
