1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Can it be used directly with a smartphone or tablet?
Yes, as long as the device supports OTG: on an OTG-compatible Android device, the reader is recognised as soon as it is plugged in, with no app or driver. You can offload a photo card onto your phone while on the move, without getting a computer out.
Can you read an SD card and a microSD card at the same time?
Yes, the two slots work simultaneously: the SD card and the microSD (TF) card are read in parallel, each up to 512 GB. So you do not have to unplug one to access the other when sorting or consolidating your files.
Do I need to install a driver on a computer?
No, no driver is required: the reader is recognised immediately on Windows, macOS and Linux, as well as on Android with OTG. Plug it into a USB-C port and the cards appear straight away.
Does the 5 Gbps speed really make a difference day to day?
Yes, with large volumes: the USB-C 3.1 interface reaches up to 5 Gbps, enough to empty a card full of photos or video footage in a few seconds. That is what counts when you offload several cards after a reporting assignment or a shoot.
Does it stand up to being carried around in a bag?
Its aluminium body gives it a rigid shell rather than plastic that cracks, and its compact format lets it fit in a laptop bag pocket. The box contains the reader only.
Is the Ugreen card reader new and under warranty?
Yes: a new and genuine Ugreen product, delivered in its original packaging with its invoice. The invoice serves as the 1-year warranty document. The references to check are 50704 and the barcode 6957303857043.
