1 year warranty — free repair in Morocco if it breaks down during the warranty period

1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is the cable long enough to reach my tower PC?
It is only 150 mm long: enough to set the reader right next to a laptop, but not to reach a tower sitting under the desk. In that case, keep a USB extension cable or a hub within reach.
Do I need to install a driver before using it?
No: it works on Windows, macOS and Linux without a driver. That is very handy on an editing workstation locked down by the IT department, where you have no administrator rights: you plug in the reader and offload the card.
Is it compact enough to take on location shoots?
Yes: at 53 g and 60 × 63.9 × 15 mm, it slips into a camera bag pocket without weighing on your shoulder. That is exactly the intended use — fast offloading in the field from high-end camera bodies, between two shoots.
Can it be used outdoors in the height of summer?
Its operating range is 0 to 40 °C: beyond that, keep it in the shade rather than in full sun on a car bonnet. Storage tolerates a much wider range, -20 to 85 °C, enough to leave it in a bag or a car boot between two shoots.
Is this Lexar reader new and under warranty?
Yes: a 100% new product, part number LRW550U-RNBNG, supplied with its invoice, which serves as the warranty document for 1 year. It is indeed the reader from the Lexar Professional range, with a workflow optimised for professional photographers and videographers.
