Non-contractual photos

The visuals on this page are supplied by the manufacturer. They are frequently produced for a whole range — not for the exact model you are viewing: what you see in the photo is never a promise of what is included.

No exchange, return or cancellation will be accepted on the grounds that something seen in a photo (accessory, port, colour, keyboard layout, packaging…) is not found on the delivered product. Only the specifications written on the page are binding for the order.

What the image does not guarantee:

  • Keyboard : manufacturers' images are international: our computers ship with an AZERTY (French) keyboard, even when the photo shows a QWERTY one.
  • Visible features : a fingerprint reader, backlit keyboard, webcam, numeric keypad or card reader glimpsed in the image are not necessarily present on this exact reference.
  • Ports and connectors : the number, type and position of the ports (USB, USB-C, HDMI, RJ45) change from one configuration to another within a single photographed series.
  • Display : the image shown on the screen is a composite; resolution, touch panel and bezel thinness are those of the specifications.
  • Operating system : the Windows desktop visible in the photo implies neither a Windows licence nor an Office suite installed: the specifications state the system actually delivered.
  • Colour : one image often serves several colours, and the shade you see depends on studio lighting as much as on your screen settings; the colour sold is the one in the title and the specifications.
  • Props and accessories : the items shown around the product (cables, stands, decorative objects, content displayed on screen) are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • Packaging : boxes, labels and bundles change with the manufacturer's revisions: the packaging delivered may differ from the one in the photo.

What is binding: the product title, this page's technical specifications, the description and, when provided, the manufacturer's PDF datasheet available in the downloads.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Is Windows preinstalled on the MSI Cyborg 17 B13WGKG?
No, this model comes with FreeDOS, without Windows. You will need to install an operating system — a Windows licence or a Linux distribution — before your first game. The hardware, however, is complete: there is nothing else to plan for in terms of equipment.
How much power is allocated to the RTX 5070 in this MSI Cyborg 17?
60 W maximum, Dynamic Boost included, for a Boost clock of up to 1,425 MHz and 8 GB of GDDR7. This power budget is decisive: at 60 W, the RTX 5070 targets Full HD at high frame rates rather than higher resolutions.
Can the memory of this MSI Cyborg 17 B13WGKG be upgraded?
Up to 96 GB, but by replacement: the 32 GB of DDR5-5200 already occupies both slots, as two 16 GB modules running in dual-channel mode. That said, 32 GB is a generous reserve for gaming as well as for video editing.
Can you add a second SSD to this MSI Cyborg 17?
No: the chassis has only one M.2 slot, PCIe Gen4, occupied by the 1 TB SSD. MSI also refers you to a service centre for any drive upgrade. The original terabyte does, however, leave plenty of room before you need to think about it.
What difference does the 17.3-inch format of this MSI Cyborg 17 make?
A much larger display area at the same resolution: Full HD is more comfortable to read than on a 15-inch model, and 144 Hz makes full use of this screen size in games. The trade-off is size: 2.5 kg for nearly 40 cm in width.
What ports does this MSI Cyborg 17 B13WGKG have?
Two 10 Gbps USB-A ports, one USB-C port at 10 Gbps with DisplayPort and Power Delivery 3.0, an HDMI 2.1 output at 4K at 60 Hz, a headphone jack and a Gigabit Ethernet port — wired remains the benchmark for online gaming.
How powerful is the charger of this MSI Cyborg 17?
150 W, for a 4-cell 55.2 Wh battery. That is typical of a mid-range gaming laptop — lighter to carry than the 240 or 400 W bricks of high-end models, but still necessary to play at full power.
How good is the webcam on this MSI Cyborg 17?
A 720p HD camera at 30 frames per second, with 3DNR noise reduction and a physical shutter. It is the standard for this category: good enough for a call, but falls short for streaming or daily meetings.
Is the MSI Cyborg 17 B13WGKG new and under warranty?
Yes, it is new and sealed, covered by a 1-year warranty; your purchase invoice serves as proof. Its keyboard is a French AZERTY 4-zone RGB keyboard with a Copilot key, and the translucent chassis features the range's biomechanical design.
