Non-contractual photos

The visuals on this page are supplied by the manufacturer. They are frequently produced for a whole range — not for the exact model you are viewing: what you see in the photo is never a promise of what is included.

No exchange, return or cancellation will be accepted on the grounds that something seen in a photo (accessory, port, colour, keyboard layout, packaging…) is not found on the delivered product. Only the specifications written on the page are binding for the order.

What the image does not guarantee:

  • Keyboard : manufacturers' images are international: our computers ship with an AZERTY (French) keyboard, even when the photo shows a QWERTY one.
  • Visible features : a fingerprint reader, backlit keyboard, webcam, numeric keypad or card reader glimpsed in the image are not necessarily present on this exact reference.
  • Ports and connectors : the number, type and position of the ports (USB, USB-C, HDMI, RJ45) change from one configuration to another within a single photographed series.
  • Display : the image shown on the screen is a composite; resolution, touch panel and bezel thinness are those of the specifications.
  • Operating system : the Windows desktop visible in the photo implies neither a Windows licence nor an Office suite installed: the specifications state the system actually delivered.
  • Colour : one image often serves several colours, and the shade you see depends on studio lighting as much as on your screen settings; the colour sold is the one in the title and the specifications.
  • Props and accessories : the items shown around the product (cables, stands, decorative objects, content displayed on screen) are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • Packaging : boxes, labels and bundles change with the manufacturer's revisions: the packaging delivered may differ from the one in the photo.

What is binding: the product title, this page's technical specifications, the description and, when provided, the manufacturer's PDF datasheet available in the downloads.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Can the memory of this MSI Cyborg 17 B13WGKG-244MA be upgraded?
Yes, but by replacing the modules. Both slots are already occupied by 2 × 16 GB of DDR5-5200, i.e. 32 GB in dual-channel mode, for a supported maximum of 96 GB. You therefore need to remove the installed modules rather than add one.
How good is the RTX 5070 in this MSI Cyborg 17 B13WGKG-244MA?
It is a dedicated card with 8 GB of GDDR7, set to 60 W maximum and rated at 798 AI TOPS. The power budget matters as much as the model name: two machines with an “RTX 5070” do not deliver the same performance if one receives more watts than the other.
Can you replace the SSD in this MSI Cyborg 17 B13WGKG-244MA?
MSI asks you to go through a service centre for any change to the drive, and the chassis has only one M.2 slot, occupied by the 1 TB NVMe PCIe Gen4 SSD. This capacity is comfortable for a game library, but it cannot be expanded internally.
What difference does a 17.3-inch screen make in everyday use?
It offers a much larger display area than a 15-inch model, at 144 Hz and Full HD on an IPS-level panel. The trade-off is size: 2.5 kg without the charger, a machine that stays on a desk rather than one you carry every day.
Can this MSI Cyborg 17 B13WGKG-244MA be charged via USB-C?
Yes, the USB-C port supports Power Delivery 3.0, as well as DisplayPort and 10 Gbps data. The supplied adapter is a 150 W unit, the power specified by the manufacturer to run the processor and graphics card together at full load.
Does the webcam on this MSI Cyborg 17 B13WGKG-244MA have a shutter?
Yes, a physical shutter covers the lens, and no software can bypass it. The camera itself remains 720p at 30 frames per second, with 3DNR noise reduction. The machine also has an fTPM 2.0 security chip and a Kensington lock slot.
What does the “H” in the Core i7-13620H of this MSI Cyborg 17 mean?
The H denotes Intel's high-performance line, with a far more generous power allowance than the U series used in ultraportables. This i7-13620H has 10 cores and 16 threads running at up to 4.9 GHz with 24 MB of cache: enough to feed the dedicated graphics card without holding it back.
What ports does this MSI Cyborg 17 B13WGKG-244MA have?
Two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports at 10 Gbps, one USB-C port combining data, video and charging, an HDMI 2.1 port capable of 4K at 60 Hz, a Gigabit network port and a combined headphone/microphone jack.
Is the keyboard on this MSI Cyborg 17 B13WGKG-244MA RGB?
Yes, it is a gaming keyboard with customisable 4-zone RGB backlighting and a Copilot key dedicated to the Windows assistant. The 17-inch format leaves room for comfortable typing during long sessions.
Is this MSI Cyborg 17 B13WGKG-244MA new and ready to play?
Yes, it is new and sealed, with Windows 11 Home already installed and a 1-year warranty for which the invoice serves as the warranty document. It features a 4-cell 55.2 Wh battery, a Gigabit port and Wi-Fi 6E with Bluetooth 5.3.
