Non-contractual photos

The visuals on this page are supplied by the manufacturer. They are frequently produced for a whole range — not for the exact model you are viewing: what you see in the photo is never a promise of what is included.

No exchange, return or cancellation will be accepted on the grounds that something seen in a photo (accessory, port, colour, keyboard layout, packaging…) is not found on the delivered product. Only the specifications written on the page are binding for the order.

What the image does not guarantee:

  • Lens : a body photographed with a lens is very often sold body only: only the title (“body only”, “18-55 kit”…) states what is delivered.
  • Accessories : memory card, spare battery, charger, bag, tripod, lens hood and caps are not included unless stated.
  • Sample images : the sample photographs shown say nothing about the results you will get.
  • Screen and viewfinder : an articulating screen, electronic viewfinder and connectors depend on the reference.
  • Colour : one image often serves several colours, and the shade you see depends on studio lighting as much as on your screen settings; the colour sold is the one in the title and the specifications.
  • Props and accessories : the items shown around the product (cables, stands, decorative objects, content displayed on screen) are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • Packaging : boxes, labels and bundles change with the manufacturer's revisions: the packaging delivered may differ from the one in the photo.

What is binding: the product title, this page's technical specifications, the description and, when provided, the manufacturer's PDF datasheet available in the downloads.

Frequently asked questions about this product

What load does this Vanguard VESTA 233AP tripod support?
Up to 3.5 kg. This is the limit to compare with the weight of your camera body with the lens mounted: a full-frame DSLR and a telephoto lens quickly exceed this figure.
What height does this Vanguard tripod reach?
155 cm at most, for a weight of 1.27 kg, in three-section aluminium. These three figures decide the trade-off between viewing comfort and ease of transport.
Which head is fitted to this tripod?
A PH-23 3D head, with 360° panning. A 3D head is adjusted one axis at a time: slower than a ball head, but more precise for level framing.
Is the plate on this tripod quick to attach?
Yes: it is a QS-29 anti-rotation quick-release plate. You screw the plate under the camera body once, then clip it on at each set-up, without it rotating under the camera.
Is this Vanguard VESTA 233AP tripod new and under warranty?
Yes, it is a new Vanguard product, barcode 4719856245362. The invoice serves as the warranty document, for 1 year. Keep it in case a defect is found.
