Frequently asked questions about this product

Does this UNV camera film in colour at night?

Yes: its day/night mode is stated to deliver colour images 24 hours a day. Its sensitivity goes down to 0.01 lux, and drops to 0 lux with the white light on, with an illumination range of 20 metres.

What is the housing of this UAC-B112-AF28 made of?

Graphene and plastic, weighing 146 g and measuring 142 × 63 × 65 mm. Graphene dissipates heat better than plastic alone, which matters on a camera that runs continuously in the sun.

At what frame rate does this camera film?

25 frames per second by default in 1080p, with a choice between 1080p at 25 or 30 fps and 720p at 25 or 30 fps in TVI, AHD and CVI. In CVBS, it follows PAL or NTSC.

Does this camera see properly against the light?

It has a digital WDR (DWDR) and 2D and 3D noise reduction. DWDR uses processing to recover scenes with large differences in brightness, such as an entrance hall filmed facing a picture window.

Does this camera really withstand water?

Yes: its IP67 rating is given according to the IEC 60529 standard — dust-tight and protected against temporary immersion. It is designed for indoor premises as well as outdoor areas.

Is this UNV UAC-B112-AF28 camera new and under warranty?

Yes, it is a new Uniview camera, reference UAC-B112-AF28, in 1080p switchable to 720p, designed to integrate into a UNV system. The invoice serves as the warranty document, for 1 year.
