Frequently asked questions about this product

Does this UAC-B112-AF28DL camera record in colour at night?
No: its illumination is infrared, so the night image switches to black and white. Its sensitivity goes down to 0.02 lux, and to 0 lux with infrared on, with a range of 20 metres.
Is day/night switching automatic on this camera?
Yes, and it can also be forced: three modes are available — Auto by default, Day, Night. Forced Night mode is useful in a room that stays dark during the day.
Does this camera see properly against the light?
It features digital WDR (DWDR) and 2D and 3D noise reduction. DWDR uses processing to recover scenes with a strong difference in brightness, such as an entrance filmed facing the light.
Is this camera really water-resistant?
Yes: its IP67 rating is given under the IEC 60529 standard — dust-tight and protected against temporary immersion. It is designed for outdoor installation.
Is this camera bulky to install?
No: 135 g for 142 × 63 × 65 mm, in a plastic housing. It is the lightest analogue camera in the range, which makes mounting on a façade easier.
