This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

Frequently asked questions about this product

How many cameras does the UNV XVR301-08Q3 recorder accept?
8 video channels. It centralises recording and viewing of the cameras on a single site, and can be managed both from the device itself and remotely, within a Uniview video surveillance system.
What hard drive can be installed in the XVR301-08Q3?
It has one SATA interface, for a disk of 8 TB maximum. The recording retention period then depends on the number of cameras connected, their resolution and the recording mode — continuous or triggered.
Is the stated 8 TB capacity always achievable?
Not under all conditions: the maximum capacity actually supported varies with the ambient temperature of the room. A recorder installed in a hot, poorly ventilated room sees its margin shrink — a factor to take into account when choosing where to install it.
How can the XVR301-08Q3 be reached from outside the site?
Through P2P, which sets up the connection without configuring the router, or through DDNS, which keeps the recorder reachable despite a changing public IP address. UPnP takes care of opening the ports if needed.
Can remote viewing be encrypted?
Yes, with HTTPS. This is the setting to enable as soon as the recorder can be reached from the Internet: over plain HTTP, login credentials and images travel unencrypted across the network, within reach of anyone listening in on the connection.
Can the recorder send an e-mail notification when an event occurs?
It supports the SMTP protocol, which lets a device send e-mail. This is how a recorder reports motion detection or loss of signal from a camera, without you having to open the interface.
Is the UNV XVR301-08Q3 recorder new and under warranty?
New, reference XVR301-08Q3, in original Uniview packaging. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year. Keep it: it is the document that will be requested if you make a claim.
