How much ink does this cartridge contain?
130 ml, the standard volume of the colour cartridges in the HP 727 range — the matte black goes up to 300 ml.
Is this yellow ink water-resistant?
It is a dye-based ink, chosen for colour vibrancy. Dye-based inks are not pigment-based inks, which are the ones that resist water and fading.
Does this cartridge work on its own?
No: on a DesignJet, the cartridge feeds a separate printhead, which is a different reference. The two parts are replaced independently of each other.
What printing technology does this cartridge use?
HP Thermal Inkjet printing: the head heats the ink to eject the droplet. The cartridge weighs 210 grams.
Is this HP 727 yellow cartridge genuine and under warranty?
