The figure stays abstract until it is converted. At the quoted 30 pages per minute, emptying a C-EXV 67 takes about 1,100 minutes of continuous running, a little over eighteen hours. In other words: two and a half working days, if the machine did nothing else, morning to evening.
No office prints like that. Brought back to real use of a few hundred pages a day, this toner lasts several months — often a whole year in a medium-sized department. Which explains the rest.
A yield of that order is ten to thirty times an office laser's. The practical consequence is not the cost, it is memory: between two orders, nobody in the company remembers the part number, and the low-level warning falls on a day when the machine is indispensable.
So the useful habit is to note C-EXV 67 somewhere durable — in the inventory, on a label inside the cover — and to order at the warning, not when quality degrades. There are always several hundred pages between the two.
