How does the Jabra Evolve 20SE headset connect?
With a simple USB connection to the computer, plug-and-play: no software is needed to get started.
Does the Jabra Evolve 20SE have a 3.5 mm jack or Bluetooth?
No: it connects via USB only. It has neither a 3.5 mm jack nor Bluetooth. It is therefore designed for a desktop or laptop computer workstation.
Is this headset certified for Microsoft Teams?
Yes, this MS model is certified for Microsoft Teams / Skype for Business, and compatible with the Avaya and Cisco platforms. It handles answering/ending calls, volume and microphone mute.
Does the Jabra Evolve 20SE reduce surrounding noise?
It offers passive noise isolation: the design of the ear cushions attenuates high-frequency sounds (nearby voices). It is not electronic active noise cancellation. The boom microphone is noise-cancelling for a clear voice on the other end of the line.
What is the in-line control unit on the cable for?
This in-line remote lets you answer and end calls, adjust the volume and mute the microphone without leaving your desk.
Can you listen to music with the Evolve 20SE?
Yes: it is a stereo headset with wideband sound, designed for calls and music alike.
