Is the Jabra Evolve 20 MS headset wired or wireless?
It is wired, with a plug-and-play USB connection on PC or Mac. No battery and no pairing: you plug it in and it works.
Is the “MS” version of the Jabra Evolve 20 certified for Microsoft Teams?
Yes. The MS variant is optimised and certified for Microsoft Teams (and Skype for Business): answering and ending calls, volume and microphone mute are supported plug-and-play. The standard UC version, on the other hand, is not.
Does the Jabra Evolve 20 have a 3.5 mm jack?
No, it connects via USB only. It has no 3.5 mm jack connector: you need a free USB port.
How do you manage calls with the Jabra Evolve 20 headset?
An in-line control unit on the cable lets you answer, hang up, adjust the volume and mute the microphone without touching the computer.
Does the Jabra Evolve 20 microphone reduce background noise?
Yes, it has a state-of-the-art noise-cancelling microphone that removes surrounding noise. The ear cushions also provide passive noise isolation against high-frequency sounds (voices, open-plan office). It does not, however, have active noise cancellation.
Can you listen to music with the Jabra Evolve 20?
Yes. Although it is designed first and foremost for calls, it delivers wideband sound and quality stereo speakers that are also pleasant for music.
Does the Jabra Evolve 20 work just as well on PC as on Mac?
Yes, it is compatible with Windows and macOS. For call control with Microsoft Teams, simply install the free Jabra Direct software.
Is the Jabra Evolve 20 headset comfortable, and how much does it weigh?
It is a stereo model (both ears) with enveloping ear cushions, weighing 171 g, designed to be worn all day long in an open-plan office.
Is the Jabra Evolve 20 compatible with other video conferencing platforms?
