The Jabra Evolve 30 II Stereo MS wired headset is designed for business calls and for focus in open-plan offices. Its two 28 mm speakers deliver clear stereo sound for your calls as well as your music, and the on-ear faux-leather ear cushions dampen ambient noise.
Microphone: the unidirectional electret condenser mic boom picks up your voice while keeping surrounding noise out; it flips up along the headband when not needed.
Busylight: the status indicator lights up red during your calls and also signals incoming calls and Microsoft Teams notifications.
Ports: plug-and-play connection via USB-C or USB-A to a computer using the included adapter, and via 3.5 mm jack to a phone or tablet; call control unit built into the cable.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Does the Jabra Evolve 30 II connect via USB-C or USB-A?
Both. The call control unit is built into the cable, and the supplied USB-C/A adapter covers both port types: this headset fits a recent laptop just as well as an older tower. A 3.5 mm jack also lets you connect it to a phone or tablet.
What does the “MS” at the end of the Jabra Evolve 30 II's reference mean?
It is the Microsoft Teams certified version: the headset's light signals Teams calls and notifications. It can still be used elsewhere, as the headset is also listed as compatible with Zoom, Avaya, Unify and Alcatel-Lucent.
Does the red busylight switch on by itself during calls?
Yes. The busylight turns red as soon as you are on a call, with nothing to activate: your colleagues can see from a distance that you should not be interrupted. The same light also signals your incoming calls and your Microsoft Teams notifications.
Does the Evolve 30 II shut out open-plan office noise?
The isolation is passive: the faux leather on-ear cushions cover the ear and muffle the bustle around you, with no active noise cancellation. For the person you are talking to, it is the unidirectional boom that does the work by filtering out nearby voices.
Can the mic boom be raised when you are not on the phone?
Yes. The boom lifts up and stows along the headband: the headset becomes a simple pair of headphones for concentrating or listening to music. It swings back in front of your mouth in one move when the next call comes in.
93 g on your head: is that bearable for a full day of calls?
The headset is rated at 93.2 g, with faux leather on-ear cushions and an adjustable headband: you forget the weight over a day of calls. It then fits into the supplied carrying pouch, which also makes it a good travel companion.
Do you need to install a driver to use this Jabra headset?
No. It connects directly and the headset is recognised without any installation. The Jabra Direct software remains available to update the firmware or adjust the headset, but it is not needed to make your first call.
What is in the box of the Jabra Evolve 30 II Stereo MS?
