What is the Epson WF-100 waste ink collector for?
It collects the ink expelled by the printer during its cleaning cycles. It is not a printing consumable: it supplies no ink, it absorbs it. Once saturated, it blocks printing until it is replaced.
Which printers does this collector fit?
It is listed as compatible with the Epson WorkForce WF-100W and WF-110W, two portable printers. Check the model shown on your machine before ordering: the reference C13T295000 is the safest identifier.
Why does a portable printer need a waste ink collector?
Because it cleans its nozzles like any inkjet, and the ink expelled in the process has to go somewhere. On a mobile model, this tank is a removable part rather than an internal pad: it is replaced instead of putting the machine out of action.
