1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

Which printers take the HP 212A Black (W2120A) toner?
The HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M554dn, M555dn and M555x, as well as the Color LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M578c, M578dn and M578f multifunction printers. The suffix matters as much as the number: note the full reference from the machine's label before ordering.
How many pages does an HP 212A Black toner print?
Approximately 5,500 pages. This average yield is determined according to the ISO/IEC 19798 standard, which has a sequence of typical office pages printed so that figures can be compared between manufacturers. The actual yield varies considerably depending on the content of the printed pages.
What is the difference between the HP 212A and the HP 212X?
The X denotes the high-yield version: the 212X Black (W2120X) goes up to 13,000 pages versus 5,500 for this 212A. Same cartridge format, same printers, simply a heavier unit. The deciding factor is the cost per page if you print in volume.
Does the black last longer than the colour cartridges in the 212 series?
Yes. The 212A Black is rated at 5,500 pages, whereas the 212A Cyan, Yellow and Magenta stop at 4,500 pages each. In an office fleet, the black nonetheless runs out first: it is the one that prints everyday text.
Does the printer warn you when the HP 212A toner is running low?
Yes. The cartridge includes HP print gauge technology: the chip tracks the toner level and reports it to the machine, which displays the wear and lets you plan the next purchase instead of running out in the middle of a print job.
How can you be sure the HP 212A toner you receive is an original?
The cartridge carries a tamper-proof chip and HP anti-fraud technology, designed to distinguish an original HP cartridge from a used or counterfeit one. The sealed packaging and the W2120A reference printed on it are the first things to check.
What is the ColorSphere 3 toner that HP mentions?
It is the toner formulation used in these cartridges. It is calibrated to maintain consistent document quality at the speed the printer was designed for: the machine does not need to slow down to fuse the toner properly onto the paper.
What does JetIntelligence technology bring to this cartridge?
It combines three things: toner level tracking, anti-counterfeiting security, and page maximiser technology, which manages toner usage to get everything the cartridge can deliver rather than stopping with toner still inside.
Do you need to allow space to store a spare HP 212A toner?
A little: the cartridge measures 395 × 147 × 161 mm and weighs approximately 0.88 kg. So allow a 40 cm wide shelf, flat and away from light — this is not a small consumable that fits in a desk drawer.
Does this HP toner contain recycled materials?
Yes. HP states that 100% of its original toner cartridges contain a proportion of recycled material, between 5 and 45% depending on the reference, from post-consumer or post-industrial sources.
Is the HP 212A Black toner new and under warranty?
