Non-contractual photos

The visuals on this page are supplied by the manufacturer. They are frequently produced for a whole range — not for the exact model you are viewing: what you see in the photo is never a promise of what is included.

No exchange, return or cancellation will be accepted on the grounds that something seen in a photo (accessory, port, colour, keyboard layout, packaging…) is not found on the delivered product. Only the specifications written on the page are binding for the order.

What the image does not guarantee:

  • Compatibility : the printers visible in the image are only an example of use: only the exact reference of the consumable guarantees compatibility with your machine.
  • Quantity : an image of a multipack or a multicolour set says nothing about the packaging sold — the number of units and the colour are those of the title and the specifications.
  • Yield : standard, XL and high-yield versions most often share the same photo.
  • Colour : one image often serves several colours, and the shade you see depends on studio lighting as much as on your screen settings; the colour sold is the one in the title and the specifications.
  • Props and accessories : the items shown around the product (cables, stands, decorative objects, content displayed on screen) are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • Packaging : boxes, labels and bundles change with the manufacturer's revisions: the packaging delivered may differ from the one in the photo.

What is binding: the product title, this page's technical specifications, the description and, when provided, the manufacturer's PDF datasheet available in the downloads.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Which printers does the Canon BH-40 printhead fit?
It is listed as compatible with the Canon PIXMA G2420 and G3420, under reference 3421C001AA. Check the exact model shown on your printer before ordering.
Is it a genuine Canon part or a third-party printhead?
It is a genuine Canon printhead, new, reference BH-40 (3421C001AA) — not a compatible part from another brand. That is what ensures precise ink application, for sharp text and clear graphics.
Is replacing the printhead complicated?
No: the BH-40 is designed for easy installation, so as not to interrupt production. It is intended from the outset for the PIXMA G2420 and G3420.
Does it hold up to high print volumes?
Yes, that is what it is built for: it is optimised for high-demand printing environments and stated to have an extended service life. It aims for consistent results page after page, so you can print large volumes without any loss of quality mid-run.
Is the printhead new and under warranty?
Yes: a new and genuine Canon part, reference 3421C001AA (EAN code 4549292134858), supplied with its invoice, which serves as the warranty document for 1 year. You are therefore installing exactly the original part specified by Canon for the PIXMA G2420 and G3420.
