1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Which ports does the Aruba 12-port PoE+ / 12-port SFP module add?
Twelve 10/100/1000BASE-T copper ports with PoE+ and twelve 1 Gigabit SFP slots. A single card therefore covers both workstations and cameras powered over the cable, and fibre links to other premises.
Can this Aruba module work on its own?
No: it is an expansion card for the Aruba 5400R zl2 switch range. It slots into a chassis bay, which provides its power and management. Without a compatible chassis, it cannot control anything.
Does the Aruba 12-port PoE+ module encrypt traffic?
Yes, it supports MACsec, which encrypts data at the link layer. On a cable that runs through a shared wiring closet or an accessible false ceiling, this is what prevents physical eavesdropping from exposing the content of the traffic.
Does the PoE+ on this module power cameras and access points?
Yes, its twelve copper ports support PoE+: the network cable carries both data and power. An access point or a camera therefore no longer needs a power outlet where it is installed.
What are the dimensions of the Aruba 12-port PoE+ / 12 SFP module?
26.16 x 20.65 x 4.45 cm for 0.94 kg. These are the dimensions of a zl2 chassis bay: the module occupies one, and the number of bays left free determines how far the switch can still be expanded.
Is the Aruba 12-port PoE+ / 12-port SFP module new and under warranty?
New, in original HPE Aruba packaging. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year. Keep it: it is the document that will be requested if you make a claim.
