1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Which switches does the Aruba J9988A module fit into?
Into the Aruba 5400R zl2 switch range. It is an expansion card, not a standalone device: it has no power supply or management of its own and only works when inserted into a compatible chassis.
How many ports does the Aruba J9988A module add?
24 1 Gigabit SFP ports. Density is what counts in a chassis: twenty-four fibre links on a single card, where a fixed switch would mean taking up an entire bay for the same number of ports.
What else do you need besides the Aruba J9988A module to connect fibre?
One SFP transceiver per port used. An SFP slot is an empty cage: the optical module plugs into it and is chosen according to the distance to be covered and the type of fibre already installed in the building.
What are the dimensions of the Aruba J9988A module?
26.16 x 20.65 x 4.45 cm for 0.99 kg. These dimensions are those of a zl2 chassis slot: the module occupies one bay, and it is the number of free bays that limits how far a modular switch can be expanded.
Is the Aruba 24-port SFP J9988A module new and under warranty?
New, reference J9988A, in original HPE Aruba packaging. The invoice serves as the warranty document for 1 year. Keep it: it is the document that will be requested if you make a claim.
