What is the difference between the Wacom STU540 and the STU-430?
The colour screen: the STU540 has a 5-inch 800 × 480 TFT LCD, compared with a 4.5-inch monochrome LCD on the STU-430. The signing area grows to 108 × 65 mm, and the screen can display advertising and logos when not capturing a signature.
Can you display your logo on the Wacom STU540?
Yes. Outside signing sessions, the colour screen displays advertising, promotions or logos. The counter thus gains a communication surface that costs nothing more than the equipment already in place.
Is the STU540 surface pleasant to sign on?
It is made of matte etched, anti-glare tempered glass, described as giving a paper-like feel. This is what separates a natural signature from a stroke that slides — and therefore a recognisable signature from an approximation.
