It is an interactive pen display, not a standalone tablet: it must be connected to a computer (Windows, Mac or Chromebook) that runs the software. You then draw directly on its screen.

No. The Wacom One standard pen is battery-free and cordless: you start drawing straight away, without ever charging it. It also has two programmable buttons.

It connects via USB-C (with USB hub function). Depending on your computer's USB-C port, a single cable may be enough. The simplified Plug & Play connection is not available on macOS, however.
