1 year manufacturer's warranty

This product is covered for 1 year by a manufacturer's warranty (the brand's official warranty). Your iris.ma invoice serves as the warranty document: keep it safe.

A problem with your product? Don't worry: contact us by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail. Depending on the brand, we direct you either straight to the repairer appointed by the brand to fix your product, or to us — and we take care of the rest.

  • If a repair is possible, it is carried out free of charge.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, the brand offers an exchange for another product.
  • If no product is available, a refund is issued as soon as the brand confirms it.

Faulty straight out of the box? Some brands offer an immediate exchange, others a repair. Contact us to find out what applies to your product.

The warranty covers breakdowns occurring under normal use, as defined by the brand's terms. Product breakage (drop, impact, liquid…) is not covered, nor are certain consumable parts.

Frequently asked questions about this product

What types of SSD can be installed in the Ugreen 90264 enclosure?
It takes M.2 SSDs in NVMe (PCIe) M Key and B+M Key, as well as SATA B+M Key. Please note: it does not accept 2.5" SSDs, only M.2 modules.
Which M.2 SSD lengths are compatible with this Ugreen enclosure?
Four lengths are supported: 2280 (80 mm), 2260 (60 mm), 2242 (42 mm) and 2230 (30 mm). The product sheet states support for high-capacity SSDs, up to 8 TB.
What transfer speed does the Ugreen NVMe/SATA enclosure (90264) offer?
It uses the USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 interface and reaches up to 10 Gbps. It also supports UASP, as well as the TRIM and S.M.A.R.T functions to preserve the SSD's performance and health.
Does installing the SSD in the enclosure require tools?
No, installation is tool-free. A retaining clip holds the SSD in place; a spare clip is also stored at the bottom of the box. Make sure the drive is properly secured before closing the enclosure.
Does the Ugreen enclosure get very hot under heavy use?
Its aluminium alloy shell aids heat dissipation: heat from the components is removed faster than with a plastic enclosure, for more stable sustained transfers.
Can a new SSD placed in the enclosure be used straight away?
A new SSD must first be partitioned and formatted before use. Once initialised, it works like a standard external drive.
Which systems is the Ugreen 90264 enclosure compatible with?
It is compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android, and works with computers that have a USB-C port (MacBook Pro, HP, Lenovo, Dell, ASUS…). The SSD is not included; add one to suit your needs.
Is the Ugreen external hard drive enclosure new and under warranty?
Yes, it is new and genuine, with a 1-year warranty; your iris.ma invoice is proof of this.
